Our story

In 2006, we were founded as NetResults, a spin-off company from the University of Pisa, specializing in ICT systems for digital transformation in businesses, with a focus on Industry 4.0 and Smart Working. Our company is strongly oriented towards Research & Development, particularly in the fields of VoIP (Voice over IP) and MoIP (Multimedia over IP).

This approach led the company to launch the range of VoIP PBXs, KalliopePBX , in 2008.

In 2017 the new KalliopePBX V4 product line, with a renewed highly scalable and multitenant architecture, brought Kalliope to the Service Provider market with the new Kalliope4SP platform platform.

Since 2021 all Kalliope features have been made available in the Cloud thanks to KalliopeCloud , the on premises solution without infrastructure costs.

In December 2024, after more than 18 years of activity, we changed our company name from NetResults to Kalliope, fully aligning our identity with our brand.

Mission

The objective of Kalliope is to simplify Multimedia over IP adoption and use for sector players and end-users. It allows its clients to improve team collaboration and communication processes and pursue a work-life balance.

We designed Kalliope for telco operators, telephone installers, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and software developers interested in introducing VoIP, MoIP, and Unified Communication technologies into their products and client services via a network of national and European value-added distributors (VAR).
